Our biology graduates enter a wide variety of fields such as teaching; biotechnology research and manufacturing; environmental sciences and management; agriculture; state and federal national park service and forest service; a variety of health professions, such as medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science; and graduate programs for advanced study in botany, entomology, plant pathology, zoology, marine sciences, and cell and molecular biology. Our microbiology graduates also enter careers in medical technology, biotechnology research and manufacturing, a variety of health professions, and graduate programs for advanced study in microbiology, virology, immunology, and cell and molecular biology.
